RULES

1) Conduct will be professional and courteous at all times.

2) Any complaints about the conduct of other managers is to be sent (via email ) directly to The Commissioner.

3) League meetings will be held as needed.If you find that you cannot attend the meeting (s) and exercise your vote, you may email the Commissioner with any concerns. While the email will not count as a vote, your concerns will be expressed.

4) Each year's draft will follow the inverse order of the previous seasons regular season final standings.

5) Trades that include draft picks will be balanced ( ie. one DP for one DP )

6) Links may be added by approval of the Commissioner. Request approval via E-mail

7) Initially, the number of " keepers " will be determined at the first league meeting.

8) However many number of " keepers " that is decided upon, the regular season team that finishes in first position will receive one ( 1 ) additional keeper. The league "Champ" ( overall winner in the playoffs ) shall also receive one additional  " keeper ". If however, the team that finishes first in the regular season AND becomes the league "Champ" they will receive only one additional " keeper " overall.

9) While we will for the most part be a democracy, ultimately the  Commissioner has the final say. 

10) Team names MUST follow a patriotic theme.

11) Eventually : The League will consist of 2 conferences. These conferences will be named NORTH and SOUTH. Each conference will contain 2 divisions named EAST and WEST and each division will have 6 teams. The top seed in each division and one " Wild Card " ( team with the 3rd best record in each conference ) from each conference will go to the playoffs. The Playoffs will be played in a " Ghost " league. Once the playoff seeds are decided the Commissioner will set the team rosters in the " Ghost " league to match that of the teams entering the playoffs.

12) There shall be NO MORE than one member of any household allowed to join the PFL...If this affects any present member of the PFL they may finish the season out and will have to decide on which team ( if they choose to remain members ) they will keep. All players remaining on the abandoned teams within that household will return to the player pool and be available to all coaches in the following years draft.

13) The IR List;

      A) Shall consist of two (2) positions (MAX) per team.

      B) all players MUST be listed in the Yahoo ( or whatever league we will be playing in, in the future) league pages with the RED IR after their names.

      C) Once a player is placed on the IR List that player will remain on the IR List until the season is over. The player MUST be returned to the teams active roster by the Saturday preceding the NFL Super Bowl ( a notice must be sent to the Commissioner via the league email ( pfl@barclayberg.com ) and posted on the Yahoo message board in the playing site ( or on the message board of any FUTURE site we may vote to change to play in ) as well as any other way the Commissioner sees fit to do. Once each team makes it's announcement each team will drop the appropriate number of players to get in under/at the max number of players. Any players not picked up by the Saturday before the Super Bowl will become free agents and available to all AFTER  the Super Bowl. All transactions are suspended for the Sunday of the Super Bowl ( so we can all get to watch it! )

 

Expansion Draft Rules

No team shall 
lose more then 2 players, and no more then one per position
.

The following positions shall be protected by each existing team regarding the expansion draft  -  1QB, 2RB, 2WR 1TE ,1 none offensive player ( K, Team D, Ind. D )

Expansion teams will fill the final two spots of the regular draft ( I.E. 10 existing teams; two expansion teams - expansion teams get the 11th and 12th draft positions )
